Discover Peru’s hidden secrets !

We offer a wide range of activities and high quality service.

Aventures Andines specializes in organizing expeditions, in every detail, to the Cordillera Blanca, but also to other destinations in Peru, and offers a diverse range of activities : trekking, cultural treks (myths and traditions), rock climbing, mountaineering and conventional tourism.

Thanks to Aventures Andines' background knowledge of the area, you will discover some of the most magical places in this fascinating country, not only by using the classic routes but also the less established and rarely used paths.

Aventures Andines will do everything possible to ensure that your trip becomes the adventure of a lifetime.

Special requests

Aventures Andines can also organize tailor-made expeditions for professionals: scientists, archaeologists, documentary film producers, photographers.

Should you like a professional photo reportage of your expedition, Marc Masconi, co-founder and General Manager of Aventures Andines, is available for assignments. Don’t over-burden yourself with bulky cameras! You can benefit from the expert’s eye and the latest upgraded photo equipment, and fully appreciate your trip.

Altitude

Good acclimatization is essential if you intend to hike and climb in the Cordillera Blanca. All our itineraries have been specially designed to this end. Before each trek, we organize a warm-up hike in the area of Huaraz (Urus Lake). We also provide a saddled horse for the whole length of your trek, which is to be shared by the members of your group. (You may also hire your personal horse). We usually leave camp by 8 o’clock in the morning, so as to reach our next campsite by mid-afternoon.

Equipment

Aventures Andines provides high tech equipment : North Face tents for mountaineering expeditions, McKinley tents for treks. A satellite phone and a portable hyperbaric bag are available on request. All of our equipment is regularly checked, in order to ensure your comfort and your safety.
