19,767 feet / 6,025 m

For experienced climbers only! Excellent physical condition is necessary.

The normal route (the south face) is graded difficult. This elegant pyramid has become famous, as it is the logo of Paramount Studios. In the 80’s, extreme skier Patrick Valençant from France set a record by being the first to ski down this 55-degree, 800-meter-long slope! During your climb, admire plunging views on the Parón Valley and as a backdrop, the famous Pirámide de Garcilaso, Nevados Pisco, Chacraraju, Huandoy and the twin peaks of Huascarán.
