The blazing summit of Huascarán’s north peak

Ascents of Urus, Ishinca,Tocllaraju and Huascarán

This tour is specially designed for those addicted to climbing!

The camp we set up in the Ishinca Valley is the starting point for these ascents. We warm up on Nevados Urus (5,495 m) and Ishinca (5,530 m), two easy peaks. Then we climb Tocllaraju (6,034 m). The last two pitches are truly impressive with wonderful views from the summit ridge towards the northern part of the Cordillera Blanca. An experience to reward the effort of achieving your first 6,000-meter peak!

After a day’s rest in Huaraz, we head off for Huascarán, Peru’s highest summit at 6,768 meters.
