You will be awestruck by this tour around the Cordillera Huayhuash, a small but stunning range just south of the Cordillera Blanca (4 hours by bus from Huaraz).

This remote area boasts a great variety of landscapes. Towering peaks, glimmering glacial lakes and high passes over 4,500 m, set in the most rugged terrain, are contrasted with warm cultivated valleys dotted with farmhouses and small villages. You will discover the Yerupajá (6,634 m), Peru’s second highest peak, and bathe in hot springs along the way.

Tough and strenuous, this trek is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
